Hardwood Charcoal

In bags containing more than 4 kilograms, the charcoal is compound by 100% of white quebracho (aspidosperma quebracho-blanco), having a granulometry from 40mm to 200mm.

However, when packaging charcoal in small bags to be retailed, the percentage of white quebracho is reduced and then replaced by complementary species with more convenient weight/volume ratios, such as algarrobo (prosopia alba), quebracho colorado (schinopsis sp.) vinal (prosopis ruscifolia), guamini, etc.

The charcoal is packed in bags of laminated raffia, paper or polypaper.

In order to comply with the highest quality standards required by our clients, the company performs the classification, fractioning and packaging of the product in the Plant. By doing so, we assure quality, characteristics, and granulometry standards of the packed product. Likewise, stuffing of containers is also performed in the Plant, assuring the quality of the shipped product, and thus, preventing potential deterioration and delays when stuffing takes place in Fiscal Warehouses

The charcoal manufactured by FDL provides clients with excellent length, heating power, and weight- volume ratios, which meet the highest international standards. FDL manufactures charcoal from non-native species such as pine tree and eucalyptus, and despite being a product of lower quality, it is obtained from renewable resources.
